We are pleased to share that 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗮 represented Kathmandu Cancer Center as a speaker at the 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀. His presentation on access to essential medicines in Nepal highlighted key challenges and the importance of strengthening policy and practice, particularly in cancer care and palliative services.

KCC is conducting a free breast cancer screening and cervical cancer screening camp with mammogram services for all FCHV volunteers across the entire Bhaktapur district, and the program is still ongoing.

This initiative aims to promote early detection, awareness, and better health for women in the community. We sincerely thank all the FCHV volunteers who have already participated and encourage others to join as the camp continues.
