मिति २०८२ चैत २३ र २४ गते, नेपाल नेत्रज्योति संघ चितवन शाखाका सभापति एवं भरतपुर आँखा अस्पतालका अध्यक्ष श्री जयराम श्रेष्ठज्यूको अध्यक्षता तथा माडी नगरपालिकाका नगर प्रमुख श्री ताराकुमारी काजी महतो ज्युको आतिथ्यतामा, नेपाल नेत्रज्योति संघ केन्द्रीय कार्यालयको संयोजनमा माडी नगरपालिकामा PEEK Vision Community Eye Screening तालिम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरियो।

PEEK Application भनेको डिजिटल उपकरण (मोबाइल) मार्फत सजिलै आँखाको समस्या पहिचान गरी बिरामीलाई समयमै उपाचारसम्म पुर्‍याउने प्रभावकारी माध्यम हो। यस तालिममार्फत स्वास्थ्यकर्मीहरूलाई यही प्रविधिको प्रयोग गरी समुदायमै बसेर आँखाका बिरामी पहिचान गर्ने तथा आवश्यक सेवामा जोड्ने सीप प्रदान गरिएको छ।

Health Post Model अन्तर्गत सञ्चालन गरिएको यो कार्यक्रमले “कोही पनि आँखा उपचारबाट वञ्चित नहोस्” भन्ने उद्देश्यलाई अझ सशक्त बनाउने विश्वास लिइएको छ। बागमती प्रदेशमै माडी नगरपालिका यस कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन गर्ने अग्रणी (pioneer) स्थानीय तहको रूपमा स्थापित भएको छ।

On Chaitra 23 and 24, 2082 (6-7April, 2026), a PEEK Vision Community Eye Screening Training was Successfully Conducted in Madi Municipality. The Program was Organized by the Central Office of the Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh in Coordination with Bharatpur Eye Hospital.

The Training was Held Under the Chairmanship of Mr. Jayaram Shrestha, President of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh, Chitwan Branch & Chairman of Bharatpur Eye Hospital. The Event was Graced by the Presence of Ms. Tara Kumari Kaji Mahato, Mayor of Madi Municipality, as the Chief Guest.
The PEEK Application is an Effective Digital Tool that uses Mobile Devices to Easily Identify Eye Problems and Ensure that Patients Receive Timely Treatment. Through this Training, Healthcare Workers were Equipped with the Skills to use this Technology to Detect Eye Conditions within the Community and Connect Patients to Appropriate Care Services.

Implemented Under the Health Post Model, this Program is Expected to Strengthen the Goal of Ensuring that no One is Deprived of Eye Care Services. Madi Municipality has Established itself as a Pioneer Local Government in Bagmati Province in Implementing this Program.
