🧠 From Severe Symptoms to Complete Recovery

A rare case of Indirect Carotid Cavernous Fistula (CCF) — an abnormal connection between brain artery and vein — led to persistent headache, eye pain, swelling, bulging of the eye, and reduced vision.

Left untreated, such conditions can lead to vision loss or even life-threatening complications.

Through advanced neurointervention, the team successfully treated the condition by accessing the cavernous sinus and sealing it using coils and liquid onyx.

Within just a few days, the patient’s vision improved, swelling subsided, and normal eye function was restored.

Advanced, life-changing care — now available at COMS.
Neurointervention services that make the difference.

🩺 Allergy • Angioedema • Immune Dysregulation — The Overlooked Frontier

Immunological disorders rarely stay confined to one system. What appears as a simple allergy or angioedema may be a sign of a deeper multisystem immune imbalance.

As Prof. Dr. Dharmagat Bhattarai explains, symptoms in one organ should always prompt a search for subtle involvement elsewhere.

These conditions are often genetic, yet many present later in adolescence or adulthood — and allergic disorders go far beyond the skin, reflecting a systemic predisposition.

Look beyond the obvious. Understand the system as a whole.
