Lumbagosciatica due to Pr*****ed Lumbar Intervertebral Disc (PLID) at L4/L5 level. Conservative treatment plan with epidural steroid injection at L4/L5 level with oral symptomatic medications .

Advice:-
Adequate rest for 6-8 weeks, proper isometric back, quadriceps, and hamstring strengthening physiotherapy with lumbar corset belt postural habits, and restrictions on heavy work/weight lifting activities.

Only 5–10% of patients need Surgery who fail conservative treatment and develop progressive neurological impairment hampering the activity of daily living. Early diagnosis with proper treatment and counseling helps prevent surgery.

The patient's condition is improving, resolving the leg pain and radiculopathy. The patient picture is posted with his consent.

Arthroscopic Evaluation and ACL reconstruction by Quadruple Hamstring Autograft for Complete ACL Tear.

Post Operative Rehabilitation Protocol:-
Patient starts immediate active isometric quadriceps and Hamstring exercises. Initially postoperative knee flexion at 60°.Then gradually increasing 15° per week i.e. 90° flexion within Second week & 120° in 1 month. Four weeks after surgery, full flexion was allowed, and patient walks gradually without the brace.
Full weight bearing allowed - fourth week as tolerated.
Running, riding a bicycle, swimming- 3 months.
Non-contact sports - 6 months and
Contact sports - 9 months.
