CME Session – July 9, 2025
Himalaya Eye Hospital successfully organized a CME session on highlighting the Outreach and Eye helath education activities.
-Govinda Nath Yogi spoke on the Role of Social Media in Eye Health Education (experience from Biratnagar Eye Hospital).
-Tej Bahadur Gurung presented on Strengthening Community Outreach and Eye Care Centres (learnings from Bharatpur Eye Hospital).
-Subhas Nepal shared reflections from the Community Outreach Certificate Course at LAICO, Aravind Eye Hospital.

A sunglass distribution program was successfully organized by Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh, kaski, coordinating with Himalaya Eye Hospital, support of Helping Hands Health Education, targeting traffic police and journalists. A total of 450 pairs of sunglasses were distributed to traffic police and 100 pairs to journalists to help protect their eyes from harmful UV rays during long hours of outdoor duty.
