🦋🌼 Pollinator Week 2025 – A Week of Awareness, Action & Tribute 🌼🦋
Seven beautiful days. Countless meaningful moments. Here's a quick recap of our journey to celebrate and protect our precious pollinators:
🗓️ Day 1 – Butterfly Watching Hike to Shivajhatta
We kicked off the week with a peaceful butterfly hike, spotting pollinators in their natural habitat and learning about their vital role in ecosystems. 🦋🌿
🗓️ Day 2 – Trail Hike to Bishnupaduka
Another day on the trail! Wildflowers, bees, and butterflies stole the show as we connected deeper with nature. 🌼🥾
🗓️ Day 3 – Awareness at UN School
Grade 8 & 9 students explored pollinator science through fun and interactive learning. Their energy was contagious! 📚🐝
🗓️ Day 4 – Awareness at Blooming Lotus English Secondary School
Grade 7 & 8 students engaged in hands-on activities and discussions on pollinators and food systems. 🌍💡
🗓️ Day 5 – Session at Shree Public High School Dharan-12 Sunsari
A curious and engaged group of students made this awareness session a joy to host. 🌸🦋
🗓️ Day 6 – Hike to Danabari
We wrapped up field activities with a refreshing nature hike to Danabari, reflecting on the role of pollinators in biodiversity. 🌿🥾
🗓️ Final Day – Tribute to पुतली बाजे
We ended with a tribute to Collin Smith, "पुतली बाजे" ,a true hero of conservation. His legacy lives on in our actions. 🕊️🦋
