Mrs.Shah, wife of a local manual-rickshaw driver at Salakpur, lost her vision few years ago as a side effect of diabetes and cataract. They lost all their savings putting efforts to reduce the side effect of diabetes in her eyes. Not being able to afford the cataract surgery due to their financial difficulties, she had no choice but to live with blindness.
Mr.Ranjan Ojha, a social worker from Morang, approached our hospital with this matter. He helped them express their difficulties to our organization’s administration, seeking help to restore her vision. Upon understanding the story behind Mrs.Shah’s blindness, our organization immediately approved for her free treatment including investigation, surgery (Phaco Foldable IOL under Topical), and medication.
The Shah family expressed heartfelt thankfulness and kind words with the joy of vision restoration.
