The enclosure was a medium size shop, which was considered big then. The other noted factor was that ours was one of the earliest medical halls in the city; this was a plus factor since the same enabled us to gain a quicker and easier foothold. The response then was phenomenal and continues to be so to this day. We supplied medicines and surgical instrument to all types of hospitals, Government, private and military; the art of medicine dispensation was longer in those days and the rates of complete purchased medicines were in the range of affordable.
