We have partnered with "ALOKA Vision Programme" by ZEISS as our Social Responsibility Partner.

Through this collaboration we want to establish and promote Community Optometry in Nepal and encourage young Optometrists into Social Entrepreneurship.

If you are an Optometrist who is interested in Community Optometry and want to become a social entrepreneur you can join our group of Nepal Optometrists Society.

First Nepal Optometrists Society Symposium - Road To Specialty Optometry held in Butwal.

Nepal Optometrist Society (NOPS) conducted its First Symposium at Hotel Pauwa in Butwal on 1st April,2023. The symposium was focused in developing Optometry Specialty practice in Nepal and was entitled “Road To Specialty Optometry”. About 52 participants were present in the symposium where speakers from Nepal and India spoke in the field of Specialty Contact Lens Practice, Private Optometry Practice, Community Optometry and Scopes in Optometry.

NOPS is focused on developing Specialty Optometry practice in Nepal and aims to conduct various training programs, workshops and symposiums to help young Optometrists get into the practice of Specialty Optometry. They are not only focused on promoting specialty Optometry practice but also aims to strengthen the basic core Optometry knowledge among young Optometrists including Optometry Students.
