ग्यास्ट्रिक क्यान्सर मृत्युको प्रमुख कारणमध्ये एक हो, जुन प्रायः ढिलो पत्ता लाग्छ। समयमा परीक्षण गर्दा रोगको प्रभावकारी उपचार सम्भव हुन्छ, जबकि विकसित अवस्थामा शल्यक्रिया र कीमोथेरापी आवश्यक पर्छ। यो अध्ययनले ग्यास्ट्रिक क्यान्सर पुरुषहरूमा बढी देखिने र प्रायः जटिल अवस्थासहित पत्ता लाग्ने देखाएको छ। सचेतना अभिवृद्धि र समयमा रोग पहिचानले जीवन बचाउन सक्छ।

ग्यास्ट्रिक क्यान्सरका सबैभन्दा महत्वपूर्ण लक्षणहरू निम्नानुसार छन्:

1. अनायास तौल घट्नु
2. भोक कम लाग्नु वा नलाग्नु
3. थोरै खाँदा नै पेट भरिएको महसुस हुनु
4. लगातार अपच (एसिडिटी) र पेट दुखाइ
5. कहिलेकाहीं बान्ता हुनु
6. रगत वान्ता हुनु वा कालो दिसा (रगत मिश्रित)

यदि यी लक्षणहरू लामो समयसम्म रहिरहेमा, चिकित्सकसँग परामर्श गर्न आवश्यक छ।
