On September 8, Gen Z Revolution Day, I was in the operation theatre when chaos hit—patients with gunshot wounds kept arriving. We operated, repaired, saved lives. It was heartbreaking, yet I felt proud to stand with this movement in my own way.
Heartfelt salute to our colleagues for handling the chaos with such calm and organized teamwork.
I’ve spent 19 years in medicine here, staying when many left, despite corruption, low pay, and no work-life balance. Seeing the courage of Gen Z gave me hope—for Nepal where the right people are in the right place. Baby boomers should guide from the side, and others should inherit a fairer, brighter future.
Congratulations to Gen Z — in just two days, you’ve shown the power that truth and courage hold. You’ve stood up, you’ve spoken out, and you’ve forced the corrupt to step down. This grand victory is proof: when people unite, change isn’t just possible — it’s inevitable.
