प्राय गरेर गर्ववती अवस्थामा मानसिक स्वाथ्य समस्या धेरै नै देखा पर्दछ। यसका लागि हामी सबैले गर्ववती महिला को राम्रो ख्याल राख्नु पर्दछ।
त्यसमध्ये मा विशेष गरेर postpartum blues चाहिँ ४० देखि ५०% हुन्छ।
Postpartum blues- त्यसै रुन मन लाग्ने, झिजो लाग्ने, मन त्यसै नराम्रो लाग्नु जस्ता लक्षण हुन्छन् र यो बच्चा भएको २ देखि ३ दिन बाट हुन सक्छ।
यही लक्षण बढ्दै गएर २ हप्ता भन्दा बढी भएमा र साथै आत्महत्या को सोच आउनु चाहिँ Postpartum Depression हो। यो अवस्था मा नजिक को psychiatrist कहा भेटेर उपचार गराउनु पर्दछ।
त्यो भन्दा पनि अवस्था गम्भीर भएमा आमा ले आफ्नै बच्चा नचिन्ने र निन्द्रा नलाग्ने खाना खान मन नहुने, भ्रम हुनु, अनौठौ किसिम को व्यवहार हुने, र आत्महत्या को प्रयास वा सोच हुने गर्दछ।
