It was originally established in 1959 by Dr. Bethel Fleming and her friends under American Women of Nepal (AWON) as a non- profit social service organization. And now working entirely under Nepalese and Nepalese Board. The clinic's primary focus is medical treatment, preventive health care and

education for lower income families. the clinic also serves the ex- patriots and travelers community through their excellent vaccination program.
