🔅Pleased to share our recently published article on “Screening for tics among school going children in Nepal” 🙂
Key findings:
✅Prevalence of tics was 5.1 %
✅The mean age of children who screened positive was 10.92 ± 2.60 years.
✅Male to female ratio - 1.2:1.
✅Family history of tics was reported in 28.1% (n = 9) of the tic-positive cases.
✅Children with a positive family history showed higher tic severity scores.
