Glad to share our recently published article on screen time in preschool children.

♻️Key findings:

✅ 96% had history of screen time

✅ More than half of the sample had screen time for more than 2 hours/day

✅ socialization & communication scores were lower in children with screen time of more than one hour per day

✅ parent related reasons were more than child related reasons for exposure to screen

✅ children with autism were found to have more screen exposure, supporting the hypothesis that children with autism may prioritize screen activities to avoid social challenges.

On the occasion of world autism awareness & acceptance month of April, pleased to share our recently published article on 138 children with autism that is basic but very essential in the context of Nepal.

♻️Key findings:

✅ early age at diagnosis of 42 months compared to previous findings in Nepal is promising

✅ parents and relatives concerns was the primary reason for seeking a diagnosis that suggests increase in awareness
