What a great concoction of occupational therapists from Nepal and Europe!
As occupational therapists, it becomes crucial to understand the context of the person for an effective assessment, intervention planning and outcome.
Driven by context-appropriate lens two occupational therapy students final-year students, Firuze and Yamir, from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) sought support and guidance from ANOT(Association of Nepal Occupational Therapists) members, and Bloom Park Clinic hosted the meeting to facilitate the same.
Credits to the era of Internet and social media, a pediatric OT from Austria, Sophie, who is on a short-term sabbatical in Nepal connected with our chairperson and clinical lead, occupational therapist Ganga Gurung, to share about our work and hers, evidence-based practices and OT models and frameworks used in their respective fields.
A moment of full circle happened when the Dutch students realised their supervisor and Sophie were close friends!
What a small world!
