A Productive Week at Maryknoll Nepal / Aashadeep!

We've had a week full of meaningful activities and collaboration:

May 13:
We planted 100 trees on our grounds—thanks to the generous support from Fair Trade Group Nepal. Your contribution is helping us grow a greener future!

May 16:
A Strategic Workshop led by Management Consultant Mr. Binaya Maharjan brought together our Board Members, General Members, and Staff. Thank you all for your active participation and insightful contributions!

May 18:
An Orientation Session for Field Placement was held for HA 3rd Year students from Stupa Health Science Campus, conducted by Mr. Prabhat Kiran Pradhan. Wishing the students the very best as they begin this exciting and important chapter in their journey of learning and service!

The Dashain celebration at Maryknoll Nepal was a joyful and meaningful event, bringing together our beloved resident members. We were deeply grateful for the presence of our Board Members, Dedicated General Members, and all of our staff. This festive gathering strengthened our sense of unity and togetherness. We sincerely thank everyone who participated, making this celebration a resounding success.
A special thank you to our President, Ms. Meera Bhattarai, for generously providing new clothes for all our patients and organizing a delightful meal. Your continued support is truly valued, and we look forward to more wonderful moments together in the future.

Master’s of Nursing students specializing in Psychiatric Nursing from Bir Hospital Nursing Campus recently visited Maryknoll Nepal for a one-day observation. We were delighted to welcome them and share our work in mental health care. The students engaged with our team, learned about our programs, and explored practical aspects. We appreciate their enthusiasm and look forward to more such interactions that support learning and collaboration.

Our mental health goes through cycles with changing times, like our physical health. Sometimes, things are great, and other times, not so much. This realization makes it easier for many to talk about their mental health difficulties. Lets raise awareness, reduce stigma and point to the need for anyone with mental ill-health to seek help as they would for a physical ailment.
