THE LAST MOON RETREAT • December 11-12
Dakshin Kali Resort, Pharping
2 Days • 1 Night
As the last moon of the year approaches, we gather for a gentle reset — a space to release the heaviness of the past months and step into the new cycle with clarity. This 2-day, 1-night retreat is crafted to help you unwind, reconnect, and realign through movement, creativity, ceremony, and nature.
Day 1 begins softly.
We start with a comfortable pickup from Kathmandu and ease into the afternoon with time to settle into your room and land in the space. We then open the retreat with a mushroom tea ceremony and claywork, inviting you to slow down, open your heart, and express yourself through touch, presence, and creativity.
As the energy builds, we shift into ecstatic dance, allowing the body to release what words cannot. The evening deepens with a sound bath, restoring the nervous system through vibration and stillness. After a nourishing dinner, we gather under the night sky for a soulful kirtan jam, sharing mantra, music, and gentle connection. The night closes with intentional rest.
Day 2 begins in sacred silence.
We start the morning at the monastery, where you’ll experience meditation, pranayama, and a warming yoga flow held within centuries-old walls. The atmosphere itself encourages grounding, reflection, and a deeper connection to your inner space. The practice concludes with restorative sound to align your energy for a new beginning.
After breakfast, we head into nature for a hike and sacred cave visit, a powerful setting for setting intentions, releasing old patterns, and receiving clarity for the coming year. The mountains, the quiet path, and the ancient cave naturally guide you toward reflection and renewal.
We return for lunch, share our closing moment together, and then begin the journey back to Kathmandu — softer, clearer, and more aligned.
This retreat is your space to breathe out the year, reconnect with what truly matters, and step into the next cycle with lightness and intention.
If this feels like the reset you’ve been needing, you’re warmly invited.
