Today, Richmond Fellowship Nepal was pleased to host 3rd-year BNS nursing students from the Patan Academy of Health Sciences for an insightful observation visit.

It was a privilege to engage with these healthcare professionals as we explored the history of our organization, the core components of our rehabilitation programs, and our holistic approach to recovery. We also delved into the complexities of addiction, emphasizing the importance of empathy and evidence-based care in the field.

Thank you to the students and faculty from PAHS for a productive discussion. We look forward to seeing the positive impact you will undoubtedly make in your nursing careers!

Transparency and growth go hand-in-hand.

Today’s board meeting at Richmond Fellowship Nepal was an honest look at where we stand. While we celebrated our recent successes, we spent significant time discussing the challenges our centre faces in the current situation.

We are excited about the solutions discussed and remain more committed than ever to our mission.

Thanks to our board for their unwavering guidance.

Successfully completed a 4-day intensive training on Mental Health and Substance Use Management for Service Providers working in substance use treatment services.

It was truly a fruitful and enriching session where rehab professionals deepened their understanding and skills in:
▪︎ Harm reduction approaches
▪︎ Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, mania and bi-polar disorders
▪︎ Su***de prevention strategies
▪︎ Counseling skills and techniques including CBT and Motivational Interviewing
▪︎ Detoxification management

This training has strengthened our capacity to provide more effective, compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals struggling with substance use and mental health challenges.

Heartfelt thanks to Recovering Nepal for organizing such an important and impactful program in coordination with UNDP and MoHA.

Special gratitude to Dr. Sagun Ballav Pant, Dr. Binita Dhungel, Dr. Shreeram Upadhya, Mr. Navaraj Jaisi (MoHA) and Mr. Prabachan KC (SPARSHA Nepal) for delivering sessions full of knowledge, experience and practical insights.

Finding stillness in the journey

We believe that recovery isn't just about moving away from the past—it’s about moving toward a better way of living. Art of Living session is a powerful reminder that peace starts from within.

Through breathwork and mindfulness, our members are learning to navigate life’s waves with a calm mind and a resilient heart.

26 Years of Grace, Grit, and Guidance.

Today, the walls of Richmond Fellowship Nepal are echoing with gratitude as we celebrate the 26th recovery birthday of a true titan in the recovery world—our very own Jeetendra Shakya.

More than just a leader, he is a teacher who walks the talk and a beacon of hope for every soul seeking a way out of the darkness. Thank you for showing that recovery isn't just possible—it’s beautiful.
