म यो घोषणा गर्दाँ खुशी छु कि मेरो नयाँ अनुसन्धान पत्र, "प्रारम्भिक मृगौला क्यान्सरको उपचार गर्न रोबोट-सहायक आंशिक नेफ्रेक्टोमीको लागि तीन रोबोटिक प्रणालीहरू बीच तुलनात्मक अवस्थामा गरिने अपरेशनको प्रदर्शन," प्रतिष्ठित नेचर पोर्टफोलियोको वैज्ञानिक रिपोर्ट्समा आधिकारिक रूपमा प्रकाशित भएको छ।

यस अध्ययनको विषय: आधुनिक शल्यचिकित्सामा एउटा महत्त्वपूर्ण प्रश्नको जवाफ: रोबोटिक प्रविधि विकसित हुँदै जाँदा, के नयाँ प्रणालीहरूले सुनको मानक (दा भिन्ची) जस्तै काम गर्न सक्छन्? हामीले कम इन्सिजन, कम पीडा, र छिटो निको हुने रोबोट-सहायक आंशिक मृगौला अपरेशन गर्नका लागि दुई नवीन चिनियाँ रोबोटिक प्रणालीहरू (कांगडुओ SR-2000 र EDGE MP1000) लाई स्थापित दा भिन्ची एक्साई प्रणालीसँग प्रत्यक्ष रूपमा तुलना गर्यौं।

यसले के महत्त्व राख्छ: विश्वभरका धेरै अस्पताल र विशेषज्ञहरूले दा भिन्ची जस्ता उन्नत रोबोटिक प्रणालीको पहुँचबाट बञ्चित छन्। उच्च-गुणस्तरका वैकल्पिक प्रणालीहरूको आगमनले स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा ल्याउन, खर्च कम गर्न, र सबैभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण, यस जीवनपरिवर्तन प्रविधिलाई विश्वका धेरै रोगीहरूसम्म पुग्न सक्ने बनाउँछ।

मुख्य नतिजाहरू: हामीले ८५ जनालाई चिनियाँ रोबोटिक प्रणालीले र ८५ जनालाई दा भिन्ची प्रणालीले अपरेशन गरेको अवस्थामा कुल १७० जना रोगीहरूको अध्ययन गर्यौं। नतिजाहरू उत्साहजनक छन, समान सुरक्षा र प्रभावकारिता: दुवै समूहका रोगीहरूको नतिजा उत्कृष्ट थियो। कुनै पनि समूहमा क्यान्सर फेरि फर्कने वा अपरेशनपछिको गम्भीर जटिलता देखिएनl

केही फरक: अध्ययनले अपरेशनको समय र रक्तस्त्राव जस्ता केही मापदण्डहरूमा केही तुलनात्मक फरक पत्ता लगायो, तर यी फरकहरू यति साना थिए कि दुवै प्रणाली क्लिनिकल रूपमा समान काम गर्छन् भन्ने देखाउँछ। यो दुईवटा उच्च-प्रदर्शन कारहरूले एउटै रेस सुरक्षित र प्रभावकारी रूपमा पूरा गरेजस्तै हो, एउटा अर्कोभन्दा केही सेकेन्ड चाँडो हुन सक्छ।

🎉 Published Today! 🎉 I am excited to announce that my latest research paper, "Comparable perioperative performance between three robotic systems for robot-assisted partial nephrectomy to treat early renal cancer," has been officially published in Scientific Reports, part of the prestigious Nature portfolio.

This study addresses a crucial question in modern surgery: As robotic technology evolves, can new systems match the gold standard? We directly compared the safety and effectiveness of two innovative Chinese robotic systems (the KangDuo SR-2000 and the EDGE MP1000) against the established da Vinci Xi system for performing minimally invasive, kidney-sparing cancer surgery (robot-assisted partial nephrectomy).

Why This Matters: For patients,robotic surgery means smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery. However, access can be limited. The introduction of high-quality alternative systems can foster healthy competition, potentially reduce costs, and, most importantly, make this life-changing technology available to more hospitals and patients around the world.

The Study & Key Findings: We prospectively analyzed 170 patients,with 85 undergoing surgery with the Chinese systems and 85 with the da Vinci system. The results are incredibly promising:

Comparable Safety & Efficacy: Both groups of patients had excellent outcomes. Most importantly, there were no positive cancer margins and no major post-operative complications in either group.

Statistical Nuance: While the study did find statistically significant differences in specific metrics like operative time and blood loss, these differences were within a range that demonstrates clinical comparability. Think of it like two high-performance cars completing the same lap; one might be a few seconds faster, but both finish safely and effectively.

A New Era of Choice: This research is a significant step forward. It provides robust, real-world evidence that these new robotic platforms are viable and safe alternatives for performing complex cancer surgery, challenging the long-held monopoly in the surgical robotics market.
