Lekshey Choedup was born into a Tibetan family in the himalayas. At the age of seven he was sent away to a monastery to become a monk. After twenty years of traditional monastic education, he decided to leave and take up the life of a layperson. Continuing his vocation to benefit sentient beings, he studied Tibetan Ku Nye massage. arch Center in Kathmandu. He is a respected therapist among many lamas as well as ordinary people in his hometown of Boudha, Kathamndu. He has also worked as a visiting instructor at Sri Yoga Shala, located in Sri Lanka. Lekshey also teaches Tibetan language and Buddhist philosophy.
