NHC–Kantipur Academy of Health Science successfully conducted a School Health Program under Project Suraksh*t Maarga on 20th November at Guheswori Secondary School.
The program aimed to raise awareness about road safety and promote responsible behavior among school students.
Through interactive lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, students actively participated throughout the session.
Key topics included road safety principles, traffic rules, common causes of road accidents, and preventive measures.
Special emphasis was placed on pedestrian safety and understanding traffic signs.
Students demonstrated curiosity, shared insightful responses, and engaged actively in discussions.

NHC–KUSMS successfully conducted a School Health Program under Project Suraksh*t Maarga at Punya Secondary School , Panauti, Kavre on November 28, 2025.
The program aimed to strengthen awareness and understanding of road safety among school students.
Through interactive lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, students actively engaged in the learning process.
Key topics included causes of road accidents, their impacts, preventive measures, and the importance of traffic rules.
Special emphasis was placed on recognizing traffic signs and practicing pedestrian safety.

NHC – Asian College for Advance Studies successfully conducted a School Health Program under Project Suraksh*t Marga at Bluebird School on 28th November.
The program aimed to raise awareness about road safety education and promote safe behaviour among students.

During the session, students were guided on the importance of following traffic rules and staying alert while using roads.
They learned proper road-crossing techniques, including the use of zebra crossings and pedestrian signals.
The importance of wearing helmets and seatbelts to reduce the risk of serious injuries was emphasized.

Students were introduced to common traffic signs and signals to help them recognize danger zones and safe pathways.
The risks of distractions, such as using mobile phones while walking or cycling, were clearly explained.
Safe walking and cycling habits, especially near school areas and busy roads, were highlighted.

The session also covered basic steps to respond calmly and responsibly during road-related emergencies.

NHC – Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences(MMIHS) successfully conducted a School Health Program under Project Suraksh*t Marga at Janaprabhat Maha Vidhyalaya, Tahachal–Kalimati, on 2082-08-12.
The program aimed to promote stronger awareness of road safety education among students.

During the session, students learned the correct way to cross roads, the importance of staying alert, and how simple habits can prevent accidents.
They were introduced to essential traffic signs and signals, helping them understand how each symbol guides safe movement on the road.
The team explained why helmets, seatbelts, and reflective gear are crucial for personal protection.

Students also discussed common road hazards, the risks of using mobile phones while walking or cycling, and how to identify unsafe situations early.
Safe cycling practices, pedestrian rules, and the importance of walking on the left side of the road were highlighted.

NHC–YHSA conducted a School Health Program under Project Suraksh*t Marga at the meeting hall of Kathmandu Shikshyalaya School, Mid-Baneshwor, on 2082/08/12.
A total of 36 students actively participated in the session.
