Herpes (Zoster) shingles : Elderly patient presented with severe pain at the left ribs( thoracic cage) following janai khatira(Herpes Zoster). With all available oral pain medications patient was still on pain for 2 weeks of vigorous treatment. Patient came for interventional Radiology consultation at Haleshi.
Intercostal nerve block was done under ultrasound guidance and immediately in minutes patient was pain free.
