RxPIN and Karuna Foundation Nepal have signed an MoU to integrate digital tools, pilot programs, and training into disability inclusion work, starting with Autism Care Centers and aligning with RxPIN’s Sunflower Spectrum platform.

At the ceremony, both sides emphasized improving coordination, transparency, and access to services. Dr. Ayasha Shrestha noted that going digital will bring structure and more personalized support. “This partnership is about empathy in action,” said Dhruba Adhikari, Founder of RxPIN.

By connecting Persons with Autism, families, care centers, and professionals, the partnership marks a shared commitment to strengthening inclusive care across Nepal.

Today, the Prosthetic Hand Fitting and Distribution Camp in Itahari welcomed a special visit from the leadership of the Ministry of Social Development, Koshi Province.

Hon. Panchkarna Rai, Minister of Social Development, along with Acting Secretary Mr. Damodar Phuyal, Ms. Durga Bhandari Baral, Head of the Social Development Division, and Ms. Laxmi Neupane, Head of the Education Planning & Research Division, observed the ongoing camp activities.

Their presence added encouragement to the team working on-site and brought smiles to the beneficiaries receiving prosthetic hands. The delegation closely observed the fitting process, interacted with participants, and appreciated the joint efforts behind this initiative aimed at restoring confidence and independence in individuals with limb differences.

A meaningful day marked by compassion, collaboration, and commitment to inclusive development in Koshi Province.

A fully accessible meeting hall and restroom have been handed over to the Ministry of Social Development, Koshi Province, promoting inclusion and equal access for all.

This initiative marks a meaningful step forward in advancing accessibility and inspiring inclusive governance, a joint effort of the Koshi Province Government, National Federation of the Disabled-Nepal, and Karuna Foundation Nepal.
