What a Wonderful Start of the Day with a Noble Cause! 🌟
In support and coordination with the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers (RCHG), Ability Development Society of Nepal (ADSoN), Rotary Club of Patan (RCP-KPAD), and The Rose International Fund for Children (TRIFC), we successfully organized the Distribution Program of Artificial Prostheses for 12 Persons with Physical Disabilities (PwDs) from different districts. The program was held on 27th August 2025 at Gokarna Golf Resort with the goal of empowering individuals through mobility aids.
The event was chaired by General Daman Bahadur Ghale, President of Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers. Distinguished guests included Dr. Khadak Singh Bisht, President of Rotary Club of Patan, Mr. Bharat B.C., Project Manager of ADSoN and members from RCHG. A total of 12 beneficiaries of Physical Disabilities received artificial prosthesis and with heartfelt gratitude, they thanked all four supporting organizations, while expressing hope for continued support in the future.
During the program, Ms. Nirmala Gyawali, Public Relations and Fund Development Manager of ADSoN, highlighted ADSoN’s journey since its establishment and elaborated on the significance of the club-to-club partnership that made this initiative possible. Similarly, the President of Rotary Club of Patan explained the longstanding contributions of RCP in supporting PwDs, emphasizing that this collaborative effort was vital since the cost of such an initiative would have been too high for one organization alone. He expresses that “when all partners joined hands, it became possible to change the lives of PwDs.”
Chairperson Mr. Ghale also extended his appreciation to all the organizations and staff, congratulating the beneficiaries and stressing that “this is just the beginning of our collaboration we still have a long way to go in this sector.”
We, the ADSoN Team, would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporting partners RCHG, RCP-KPAD, and TRIFC for their commitment to this noble cause. We sincerely hope that these aids will enable the beneficiaries to carry out their daily activities independently, to pursue education, to continue employment and to strengthen their businesses.
