Nepal Family Development Foundation (NFDF) is a non-governmental organisation, working in the field of health, education and livelihood of the community and family. It is formed by medical doctors, public health experts, health education experts, sociologists, nutritionists, population experts, climate change and environmental health experts, social gerontologists, management experts, economists and other professionals extensively dedicated to family and community development. NFDF has the experts having wide range of research capacities. The experts involved with NFDF have worked in many research activities in various organizations. One of the major proficiencies of NFDF is training in various fields like TOT for general Training; Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights; Life Skills-based Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) Education; Youth Friendly Health Service; Social Mobilization; Participatory Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation; School Health Education; Research and Data Management; Livelihood Skills for handicrafts and Agriculture based Small Industries etc. Its competency is IEC/BCC Materials development and design as well since it has experts having capacities for the development of IEC/BCC strategies for long time. The journalist having prolific experience for Media Advocacy is another strength of organization. Furthermore, NFDF's another area of interest and proficiency is capacity building of community and family for management and utilization of local resources such as medicinal herbs and non-timber forest products; and agriculture based income generation activities.
