Blue Cross Hospital is a private enterprise that provides health care services. It is centrally located in the heart of the capital, in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu Valley. Its motto is "Participating in Nation's Health With Safe, Standard and Satisfying Services" and this is to be achieved through the provision of modern, new, hi-tech diagnostic and treatment facilities services, health services that are not available or inadequately available in the country. With this pledge, BCH was established in 1991 by a group of young entrepreneurs by setting up a Conventional Computerized Tomography (CT) scan, first from the private sector, and then gradually developed into a Polyclinic and Diagnostic Centre with Path lab, X ray, Ultrasound, Cardiological and neurological investigations and meanwhile adding Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) , Lithotripsy, Haemodialysis and so on. It further started in-patient services and officially registered as Blue Cross Hospital in 2010 with 22 beds (General beds, cabins), ICU with ventilator , modern OT with laparoscopic and Endourologic and Orthopedic surgical facilities and Emergency service. Currently it is 50 Bedded multi-speciality , tertiary level health care centre
