दाँत निकालिसकेपछि हुने पीडा किन हुन्छ र कसरी रोक्ने?
दाँत निकाल्दा (tooth extraction) घाउको स्थानमा रगतको थोप्लो—रक्तकोठा—बनि घाउलाई अस्थायी ढाक्छ। यही प्राकृतिक “कभर” ले हड्डी र नसलाई जोगाउँछ र निको हुने प्रक्रिया अघि बढाउँछ। तर, कहिलेकाहीँ यही रक्तकोठा छुट्टिएर वा धोइएर बाहिरिएमा हड्डी/नस खुला हुन्छन्, जसलाई “ड्राय सकेट” (Alveolar Osteitis) भनिन्छ। यो अवस्था विशेषगरी तल्लो जबडाको पछाडिको दाँत—विशेष गरी बुढ्यौली/विद्वान (wisdom) दाँत—निकालेपछि बढी देखिन्छ। सुखद पक्ष के छ भने: केही सावधानी अपनाएर यो जोखिम धेरै हदसम्म घटाउन सकिन्छ, र भए पनि सही उपचारले छिट्टै निको पार्न सकिन्छ।
