Two-Day Garbh Sanskar Training
Garbh Sanskar is a significant practice in Hinduism(Sanatan), aimed at instilling good values and education in both the mother and her unborn child during pregnancy. This tradition emphasizes the importance of a mother maintaining a positive emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual state to create a favorable impact on the baby’s development.
It is believed that up to 60% of the baby’s brain develops while in the womb. During this time, the unborn child can perceive sounds, light, music, thoughts, emotions, and external movements. Therefore, pregnant women are encouraged to stay positive and stress-free.
One essential component of Garbh Sanskar is Garbh Samvad (dialogue with the womb), where the mother gently strokes her belly and communicates with her baby. After 26 weeks, the baby can recognize external sounds, and speaking to the child helps establish a bond. These familiar sounds often soothe the baby after birth.
