The first time in its history, Purkoti Pampha from Dalit with Disabilities Association Nepal (DDAN) amplified her voice in the 1st Asia Pacific Congress on Women and Girls with Disabilities mentioning that Dalit women and Girls with Disabilities are facing multiple discriminations based on their caste, disability, gender, class and other overlapping identities. The intersectional representation of Dalit women and girls with disabilities in the regional movement is imperative to diversify the disability rights movement. Thanks to Minority Rights Group International and making it possible by ensuring her participation to voice at regional platform at its first time. Her participation has paved a new way of thinking to lead the movement of Dalits with Disabilities from multidimensional perspective.
