World Ta**ra Yoga Festival is organized to bring together all yogis and yoginis from around the world to practice and discuss classical yoga that originated in the Himalayas 10,000 years ago. Classical yoga has a deep effect on the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our beings. The verified practices from this festival can be a guide for future generations to understand how each yoga practice and their philosophies interact with each other to form the bigger picture of yoga. The practices such as Hatha, Astanga, Mantra, Kundalini, Shiva Shakti, Karma, Bhakti, Gyana and other yogas will come together to share their yoga styles with all involved. Our belief is that together these practices work connecting the relationship and systematic evolution of yoga as a whole. By practicing these systems harmoniously, the inner journey becomes easier & more effective, while the practitioner becomes capable to handle the emotional and mental turbulence of life.

At the foot of the Himalayas, Chitwan is one of the few remaining undisturbed vestiges of the 'Terai' region, which has a particularly rich flora and fauna. One of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros lives in the Chitwan National Park, which is also one of the last refuges of the Bengal tiger.

Gorakhnath Cave is one of the spiritually auspicious locations we will be visiting as a part of the World Ta**ra Yoga Festival. Gorakhnath is considered a Maha Yogi and the cave is where he first appeared. The cave is still well preserved in Gorkha where the energy of Gorakhnath can be felt.

Damauli is located in the Tanahun district and is situated on the road from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Damauli is a place of diverse inhabitants. Damauli Bazaar is chiefly dominated by Newars while Magar and Gurung are found in Byas Municipality.

Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake.
