He did his Doctor of Medicine, MD in Medical Oncology (5yrs course) from Bangladesh’s Premier Medical University,Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University,( BSMMU) Dhaka Banglades
h and his Masters in Public Health (MPH) from North South University Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Shahi is the 1st and only Nepali Medical Oncologist who has graduated from Bangladesh.Dr. Shahi officially holds European Certified Medical Oncologist( ECMO) accreditation. He has presented more than 30 free papers related to cancer in different International conference (Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Singapore,Japan & Australia). His Paper entitled “Factors associated with delayed presentation of Breast Cancer among Bangladeshi women’ was awarded one of the best papers in 6th Bangladesh International cancer Congress in 2018, Dhaka Bangladesh. Dr Shahi also did advanced course/training from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer institute and research centre New Delhi India. Trained in Medical Oncology from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer institute and Research centre New Delhi India.
