Health Yaad Aayo proudly joins the nation in celebrating a historic milestone—the World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed rubella elimination in Nepal (August 2025).

Nepal has turned the page on rubella—a disease that once put mothers and children at grave risk. Through nationwide vaccination drives, strengthened disease monitoring, and expanded routine immunization, the country has achieved what once seemed impossible: rubella elimination.

This victory is more than a medical milestone—it is a testament to what can be accomplished when communities, health workers, and science come together with one shared goal: safeguarding every life.
