At Jaya Mental Health, we are proud to support a new cross-border collaboration in nursing leadership!

Together with the Mental Hospital Lagankhel, Nepal and Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, UK, we have launched a supervision process where senior nursing staff from Bradford will be engaging with and supporting senior nurses at Lagankhel.

As the only hospital in Nepal fully dedicated to mental health care, Lagankhel’s nurses carry enormous responsibility. Through this partnership, senior nurses in Nepal will be supported in their leadership roles, strengthening and uplifting a hardworking workforce at the very heart of mental health services.

This is a step forward in building global solidarity, sharing expertise, and supporting nursing leaders who make mental health care possible.

We’re happy to share that our Art Therapy Session for Nurses, held on April 25 at Unity in Health Nepal Office, was a wonderful success!

With the theme: “Making transition in our everyday life easy by using tools of art therapy,”
the session was beautifully facilitated by Ms. Lajja Dixit, Art Therapist.

On 27th February, Unity in Health conducted an art therapy session led by art therapist Lajja Dixit for a diverse group of nurses under the theme, “Loving Yourself Without Barriers: How to Prioritize Self-Care.”

This session provided a safe and creative space for nurses to explore their emotions, relieve stress, and reflect on their personal well-being through artistic expression.

Art Therapy Session with Senior Nurses – January 31st, 2024 🎨🩺"

On January 31st, we had the privilege of conducting a heartfelt Art Therapy Session with our dedicated senior nurses. This session provided a much-needed space for relaxation, self-expression, and emotional healing. Through colors, creativity, and shared experiences, our nurses explored the therapeutic power of art, allowing them to unwind from their daily responsibilities and reconnect with their inner selves.

Each stroke of paint became a symbol of resilience, every color a reflection of their compassion. Beyond being caregivers, our nurses embraced their artistic side, proving that healing comes in many forms—not just through medicine, but also through creativity. 🌈✨
