History

Patan Community Based Rehabilitation Organisation (Patan CBR) is a non-profit organization established in 1995 AD. Initially providing rehabilitation services to just 60 children within the historic town of Patan, it has since expanded to cover three districts of Nepal - Lalitpur (including Patan), Kathmandu and Nuwakot. Patan CBR provides services for children with disabilities including:

* Day-care centre
* Home visits
* Play groups
* Assistance to educational institutions
* Training and skill development
* physiotherapy

Thank you Lions Club of Kathmandu Harati mata for the yearly visit to Patan Cbr. Also, thanks for the continuous support you are providing to us. Thank you Shambhu Pradhan, Chartered president, LCKHM for donating Rs 15000 for the scholarship and Ashok Maharjan for donating Rs 10000 and also for the khaja for the day and education material. Patan CBR organized a 4 day training program on Physiotherapy to the parents of children with disabilities of Lalitpur Metropolitan City supported by LMC in coordination with IREP project supported by MFA Finland through Interpedia ry. This training aims to capacitate parents of 12 children with disabilities along with the staff of PCBR and 3 newly appointed social mobilizers of IREP project operating in 2 rural municipalities Konjyosom and Mahankal Rm of southern part of Lalitpur District.
