On Jan 19 and Jan 20, a Comprehensive Screening Camp of Neurological Disorders & Related Disabilities in children to identify cases of Cerebral Palsy was conducted in Laxmipur Health Post, Haripur Ward 6, Haripur Nagarpalika, Sarlahi. A team from CP Clinic Nepal Provided medical support and we were able to identify more than 150 cases in this 2-day Camp.

A free health camp for children with developmental disorders was organized in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square and Asha Kiran Kendra. The event took place on January 6th and 7th at Siddhartha School, Shreepur, Birgunj.

A dedicated medical team from the Cerebral Palsy Clinic and Care Center played a pivotal role in the success of the health camp. The team included a Neuro Pediatrician, Speech Therapist, Physiotherapist, and EEG Technician, all of whom contributed their expertise to ensure comprehensive care for the children.

Throughout the two-day health camp, a total of 58 cases related to Cerebral Palsy (CP), Autism, Down Syndrome, and Intellectual Disabilities were observed and addressed by the collaborative efforts of the medical team and volunteers.

Screening Camp for children with Cerebral Palsy and other neurological disorders at Kavre. The camp was led by Dr. Pragya Karmacharya Rajbhandari and Dr. Chandralekha Tuladhar.

The program included medical guidance, seizure management, physiotherapy, and speech therapy sessions provided by a team of experts, including Neuro-Pediatricians, physiotherapists, and speech therapists from the clinic.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Mid-Town, Rotaract clubs, and Karunamaya Foundation for this event to make it happen.
