In Chilime of Rasuwa, Professional Support Service Nepal conducted dental camp, medical camp (in ludinggynaecology) and surgical eye camp from 8th to 10th February 2017. A total of five hundred sixty two patients were examined in the camp. Patients were residents of Chilime, Goljung, Gatlang and Pajung of Rasuwa district.
A total of 332 patients had their eye examined of which female were 208 and male were 124. Eye camp was done in collaboration with Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh. Twenty seven patients were operated for age related cataract with small incision cataract surgery and one patient underwent pterygium surgery.
Similarly, three hundred twenty eight patients with medical and gynaecological problems were examined and provided medicines. Among them, 103 were male and 179 were females. Two patients with trigger finger were released under local anaesthesia and a girl with cut wrist as an attempted su***de was sutured under local anaesthesia.
At Rasuwa, one hundred thirty two dental patients were examined of which male were 55 and female were 77. Teeth extraction was done under local anaesthesia in 45 cases of which children (less than 14 years) were 19 and adults were 26.
Similarly, more than 80 patients had acupressure therapy for chronic pain joints, back etc.
