Golden Gate Drug, Alcohol Rehabilitation Center

Golden Gate Rehabilitation Center (GGRC) was officially established 11 years back and is affiliated with District Administration Office, Lalitpur and Social Welfare Council of Government of Nepal (GON) as a non-governmental, non-political and non profitable organization. GGRC is a community based organization with a group of professional people, having experience on Harm Reduction, Demand Reductio

n, and HIV/AIDS prevention as well as mobilizing Drug Users in addressing Drug/HIV related issues. Most of the volunteers working actively in GGRC are people having history of Injecting and other route of Drug Using behavior, and people living with HIV/Hepatitis C. The main purpose of forming the organization is to make a valuable contribution in various aspects of HIV and drug use issue i.e. prevention, treatment, care and support in Nepal by utilizing experience of GGRC's members
