Rotaract Club of KIST Medical College, in collaboration with Blood for Nepal and Asian College of Higher Studies, successfully conducted a Blood Donation Drive on December 12, 2025, at Asian College of Higher Studies, Ekantakuna.

With blood in constant need especially during emergencies, accidents, surgeries, and critical illnesses and amid an ongoing shortage, every unit donated can become a lifeline.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who stepped forward with compassion and chose to donate blood. Your selfless act not only saves lives but also stands as a reminder that humanity shines brightest in times of need.

A special thank you to our organizing team and our collaborating partners for their dedication, coordination, and hard work in making this program a success. Together, we continue to stand for service, empathy, and positive change in our community.

✨ 7th Board Meeting | Rota Year 2025/26 ✨

Rotaract Club of KIST Medical College successfully convened its 7th Board Meeting of RY 2025/26 on December 7 at Lecture Hall IV, OPD Building, KISTMCTH.

The meeting served as a platform for Board Members to reflect on completed programs and collectively align strategies for upcoming activities and initiatives.

ROTARY QUIZ RY 25/26

Rotaract Club of KIST Medical College participated in the Rotary Quiz on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Revive Leisure Park, Mahalaxmisthan, representing, our parent club, Rotary Club of Chandragiri.

The event served as an engaging platform for participants to test their knowledge, take part in healthy competition and strengthen fellowship through interactive and thought-provoking rounds.

The quiz encouraged teamwork and fellowship with not only rotaractors but also Rotarians, creating a lively learning environment throughout the program.

We sincerely thank the organizers and all participating Rotaractors and Rotarians for a well-organized and enjoyable event.

Rotaract Club of KIST Medical College participated in the 5th Zonal Meeting of Zone XI for RY 25/26, on December 6th at School of Management, Tribhuvan University, which brought together Rotaractors from across the zone to discuss key zonal and club-level updates.

The club was represented by the Club President Rtr. Dr. Satish Dahal and Secretary Rtr. Urja Chawal.

The meeting provided an opportunity for knowledge sharing, networking, and strengthening inter-club relationships. It concluded with a post-meeting fellowship session, fostering collaboration and camaraderie among participants.

12th Late Rtr. Sachin Memorial Nationwide Blood Donation Drive

Rotaract Club of KIST Medical College, in collaboration with clubs from Zones XI, XII, and XIII, successfully conducted the 12th Late Rtr. Sachin Memorial Nationwide Blood Donation Drive on 29th November, 2025 (Saturday) at Mangal Bazar, Patan, standing united with Rotaractors across Nepal for a cause that truly saves lives.

This year’s drive carried a deeper purpose — a heartfelt response to the urgent blood needs of cancer patients in Kathmandu. Every pint collected became more than just blood; it became time, strength, and hope for patients undergoing some of the toughest battles of their lives .Our members actively participated as both volunteers and blood donors, contributing not just blood, but hope, compassion, and strength to those in need.

🩸 Over 60 pints of blood were donated, directly supporting patients at Kathmandu Cancer Centre, where the demand for blood has been rising steadily.In moments when shortages threaten treatment and survival, our collective effort became a bridge between donors and lives waiting to be saved.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Kathmandu Cancer Centre and TU Lions Blood Transfusion and Research Centre for their invaluable medical and technical support, and to all Zones XI, XII & XIII for the collective effort in making this humanitarian mission a success. Their partnership not only ensured a successful event but also opened doors for future collaborations that will strengthen our impact in community service, cancer care, and humanitarian outreach.

Thank you to every volunteer, every donor, and every supporter who made this possible.
Because of you, lives were touched… and lives were saved.
