IRIS NEPAL has been established in August 03, 2014 as a private service provider organization by a group of well experienced Psychologists, counselors, social worker, exports from related field came together with an effort to provide quality service to meet the development challenges and understand people’s well-being, their behavior and problems, and to find out the way to solve them through culturally consistent scientific psychological approach as a whole in Nepal. Vision:
Iris Nepal envisions the center of excellence in the country where all individual, organization, and communities have equal access to opportunity and services to reach their highest potential for development and well-being. Mission:
Iris Nepal aims to create awareness, produce expertise, and improve peoples’ well-being by coordinating with partner’s organization and beneficiaries; advancing and integrating knowledge with pragmatic psychological services for sustainable positive behavior and human development. Goals/objectives:
The primary goal of Iris Nepal is to serve peoples’ health and well-being and provide psychological service and awareness to the public. To provide psychological intervention, including develop manuals and training, consultations and counseling to people and organization in need. To conduct psycho-education and awareness programs in different and diverse people, organization, and communities to increase the quality of life and make aware of health and psychosocial consequences. To conduct research on across all discipline, including human behavior issues, health and well-being as well as country’s development issues. To manage human resources and coordinate with National and International organizations as per need or to achieve mutual goal. Psychological counseling and therapy

विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन अनुसार प्रत्येक १० जना मानसिक समस्यामा रहेका व्यक्तिहरु मध्ये ९ जना माथि मानविय दुव्र्यवहार हुन्छ ।
WHO का अनुसार मानसिक रोग र लागुऔषधको कुलत विश्वमै सबैभन्दा बढी बोझपूर्ण समस्याहरू हुन र आउने दशकमा यसको
बोझ अझै बढेर जानेछ । प्रत्येक ४ जना मध्ये १ जनालाई वर्षको कुनै न कुनै समयमा मानसिक समस्या देखिन्छ ।
मानसिक स्वास्थ्य समस्या विश्वभरि प्रत्येक वर्ष हुने गरेको आठ लाख भन्दा बढी आत्महत्याको ९० प्रतिशत कारण पनि हो ।
