1️⃣ Position: Audiologist
Number Required: 1
📍 Location: Green Pastures Hospital

Purpose of the Role:
The Audiologist will manage audiological clinical testing, interpretation, and reporting related to hearing and vestibular assessment. The role also includes vestibular rehabilitation, pediatric assessment, tinnitus retraining therapy, and adult auditory rehabilitation through hearing aid fitting and maintenance. The position also contributes to research, service development, and teaching of trainees and junior staff.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) or equivalent with valid professional registration in Nepal
• At least 1 year of experience (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience in hearing aid fitting and pediatric audiology
• Strong patient care, reporting, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Commitment to serving disadvantaged communities
• Understanding and agreement with the values of International Nepal Fellowship

2️⃣ Position: Health Assistant

Purpose of the Role:
The Health Assistant will provide efficient and high-quality patient care in the emergency unit, support patient comfort, and assist in emergency care and trauma stabilization.

Key Requirements:
• Diploma in General Medicine (Health Assistant) with valid professional registration in Nepal
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience (emergency experience preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment and emergency care skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Understanding and agreement with the values of International Nepal Fellowship

A Basic Burn Care Training was successfully organized at the MPLC Hall, Green Pastures Hospital. A total of 123 Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) from all wards of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Kaski District actively participated in the event.

The training aimed to strengthen community-level response by providing essential knowledge on first aid, burn prevention, real-life scenarios, and the impact of burn injuries.

"कुष्ठरोगको छ ओखति, सामाजिक लाञ्छना र विभेद मुख्य चुनौती " भन्ने नाराका साथ् गण्डकी प्रदेशले सप्ताहव्यापी सचेतना कार्यक्रमहरू सञ्चालन गर्दै विश्व कुष्ठरोग दिवस मनायो !

आज २०८१ माघ ११ गते आइतबारका निम्न कार्यक्रमहरु सम्पन्न गरेर उक्त दिवस मनाइयो।

पोखरा वडा-१५ कार्यालयदेखि आईएनएफ नेपाल हरियो खर्क अस्पतालसम्म ६०० भन्दा बढी मानिसहरू सहभागी भए ! र्‍यालीमा आमा समूह, विद्यार्थी, सामुदायिक महिला स्वास्थ्य सेविका र आइएनएफ नेपालका कर्मचारीहरू सचेतना प्ले-कार्डसहित सामेल भए ।

73rd World Leprosy Day

"Leprosy is curable, social stigma and discrimination are the main challenges." Gandaki Province celebrated World Leprosy Day with week-long awareness programs !

Today, Sunday, Magh 11, 2081 (January 25, 2026), we celebrated this important day with the following programs:

🚶 Massive Awareness Rally
Over 600 people participated in the rally from Pokhara Ward-15 Office to INF Nepal's Green Pastures Hospital! The rally included mothers' groups, students, Female Community Health Volunteers, and INF Nepal staff carrying awareness placards.

🎤 Distinguished Guests:
Chief Guest: Hon. Krishna Pathak, Minister of Health and Population, Gandaki Province
Chairperson: Dr. Madhurji Dhakal, Chief of Provincial Public Health Centre, Pokhara

📚 Supporting Our Children:
17 students from leprosy-affected families received educational materials support.

1. Dr. Arun Budha shared how Green Pastures Hospital provides leprosy treatment and rehabilitation services

❤️ Minister's Visit:
The Health Minister visited Hansen Ward, interacted with patients, and distributed clothes and fruits to patients receiving treatment at Eylen and Betty Center and Ananda Niwas. He committed to providing continuous support from the Provincial Government for leprosy programs at Green Pastures Hospital.
