- रेबिज, कुकुर तथा अन्य जङ्गली जनावरहरुको टोकाईबाट मानिसमा सर्ने प्राणघातक रोग हो ।
- टोकेको स्थानमा तुरुन्तै साबुनपानीले कम्तीमा १५ मिनेटसम्म राम्रोसँग धोऔं ।
- सबै उमेरका कुकुरले टोकेपछि तुरुन्तै नजिकको स्वास्थ्य संस्थामा सम्पर्क गरी स्वास्थ्यकर्मीको सल्लाह बमोजिम रेबिज विरुद्धको खोप लगाऔं ।

याद राखौं, रेबिज रोग लागेपछि उपचार हुँदैन, तर समयमै रेबिज विरुद्धको खोप लगाउन सकेमा बच्न सकिन्छ ।
