This year, Body Restoration and Yippee Yoppie Yoga are proud to support Women’s Refuge Hastings & Napier by creating a space for our community to give thoughtful, uplifting gifts to women during the holiday season.

When speaking with the team at Women’s Refuge, they shared something beautiful, women often prioritise everyone else first. They make sure children are cared for, they support their families, and they show up in ways that take an incredible amount of strength. Because of that, sometimes they don’t get a moment that’s just about them. Not out of neglect, simply because they’re busy being amazing humans.

So we’re putting up a Christmas tree where anyone who feels called can leave a small gift to celebrate women! Their courage, their softness, their power, and their everyday magic.

Mia and Carina finished their advanced fascia training of the upper and lower body over the last 4 days. Amazing course and people, Beth is a fascia guru! So much learning and knowledge gained, can't wait to be using it in clinical practice!

Just want to make a shout out to our massage community that pulled together to get Beth here. Feeling grateful for the network we have. Loved meeting new faces and connections too!

It's official, Body Restoration is completely moved out of Blueprint chiropractic. It's been an emotional weekend cleaning and moving things out of this room.

This is where it all started. I set out to give it a crack at running a business and being a massage therapist after leaving my career as a veterinary nurse. This space held me through a lot of life's ups and downs. I grew as a person, therapist and business owner over the past 2 years. It is so to think back to where I was when this room was empty last time. I am so grateful for everyone that crossed my path, I wouldn't be where I am now without you!

Biggest thank you to 🩷 joining the team up there with Reid, Carissa, Mandy, Crystal and Suzette (.nz ) at the the time, was an amazing way to come into the industry after training. The support and encouragement from them was the start of growing my confidence. .reidmidanik

Now Body Restoration is not just me (Carina) but also Mia and we are so excited to enter this new chapter. We will be at Yippie Yopi Yoga in Onekawa from tomorrow. Who knows what next year is going to bring 😎👏

Leave “no pain, no gain” in the 90’s on a gym poster. It’s no pain, more gain around here.

Let’s clear something up! Pain during massage does not mean progress. It means your nervous system is freaking out and your body is going into protection mode, the opposite of what we want.

Real change happens in the sweet spot 🤌🏻 That “I feel this, but I can still breathe and not levitate off the table” zone. That’s where your fascia softens, your body relaxes, and things actually release.
