About Harbour Sport Community Strength and Balance:

- We are a Lead Agency for ACC's Community Strength and Balance Programme.

- We work across Waitemata DHB and Auckland DHB areas (i.e. North Auckland, Central Auckland and West Auckland).

- We establish and maintain a network of community Strength and Balance providers and classes.

- We asses

s classes to ACC criteria, and reassess every 3/6/12 months.

- We support class providers with development and training opportunities, networking and education events.

- We receive falls referrals from PHO's and support referrals into community classes or on-refer, as appropriate.

- We promote the local community strength and balance programme, LSFL and the falls referral service.

This FREE event is designed for seniors to enjoy trying a range of light sports and activities in a fun and welcoming environment.

Just a reminder that our 𝑭𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑺 𝑷𝑹𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑡𝑻𝑰𝑢𝑡 𝑾𝑢𝑹𝑲𝑺𝑯𝑢𝑷 is on this Thursday from 1-2pm in the Betty Paxton room, next to the library.
This is a FREE programme for anyone keen to improve their balance and mobility, and help you remain independent for longer.
