Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming former Hurunui District Council Mayor, Winton Dalley, along with his wife Jean, to Amberley Country Estate.

Winton delivered a highly valuable and informative talk in our Clubhouse library, sharing his insights and experiences with residents.

This week we were honoured to welcome Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, alongside MP Stuart Smith and MP Mike Butterick, to Amberley Country Estate for a very special visit.

During their time with us, they were provided with a guided tour of our village, offering an opportunity to showcase the scale and quality of this significant development within the Amberley area. The visit continued with afternoon tea in the Clubhouse, where residents and guests enjoyed engaging and meaningful discussions across a range of topics, including community living and regional growth.

It was a privilege to share what makes Amberley Country Estate such a unique and thriving community. The visit was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance and highlighted the continued interest in the positive contribution our village is making to the wider North Canterbury region.

Last night we were pleased to host the Amberley Volunteer Fire Brigade for a search and rescue training exercise in one of our vacant, unfinished villas.

This was a valuable opportunity for our local volunteer firefighters to carry out realistic training in a residential setting, helping them stay prepared for real-life situations. It’s also great for the brigade to become familiar with our village layout, ensuring they can respond quickly and effectively if ever needed.

We’re proud to support our local brigade and the incredible work they do for our community—thank you to the team for your ongoing dedication and service.

Exciting progress continues here at Amberley Country Estate!

Our on-site contractors, HPA Group, have been powering through the build, with more and more villas popping up across the site. It’s fantastic to see the village really taking shape as each new home is completed.

There’s plenty happening behind the scenes too, with construction of our brand-new Clubhouse now underway — a major milestone that will become a central hub for our community.

We’re proud to now have over 60 occupied villas and close to 100 residents calling Amberley Country Estate home — a true reflection of the vibrant and growing community here.

Alongside the homes, significant civil works are in progress, and you’ll notice the road network really starting to come together, connecting different areas of the village.

A big thank you to HPA and everyone involved for their continued hard work. We can’t wait to share more updates as things progress!
