It can feel like a lot of people are achieving being a stay at home mum and working from home when you’re stuck in your constant thoughts of needing to return to work after maternity leave ends.

3 months ago I was looking into all sorts of options to enable me to stay at home with Eadie. I absolutely knew that I did not want to return to my teaching job, but I was in a hard spot with knowing that I also needed to make some money at the same time!

I looked into at-home childcare, admin for accountants, babysitting and MORE 🤯 but there was nothing that I could do that would either get us ahead financially or that I might have had to sacrifice time spent with Eadie.

When i started looking into ways I could make money online, I wasn’t sure what I was looking for exactly.

✨ I was open to taking a look into this business opportunity, the products made so much sense and I realised I had absolutely nothing to lose by saying yes.

Is it just me, or does the flu seem to have hit super hard this year?! 😮‍💨
I have seen on social media and have been chatting to many other māmā’s who are feeling the pinch of illness in their households this winter!

👉🏼 Did you know there are some everyday foods (that you might already have in your cupboard!) that could help support your immunity this winter?

Today I am grateful for starting this book ‘Atomic Habits’ which was recommended to me by ! I’m equally as grateful for the sun who decided to emerge after what feels like over a week since we last saw it! 🥹
Habits wasn’t something I had ever thought consciously about and I haven’t ever really noticed the small and unnoticeable habits that I do everyday. I haven’t even read the whole thing yet, but after starting to read this book (and listen on audio), I realised there were so many habits that I was doing everyday that weren’t serving me! Like, drinking coffee before water & food in the morning, waiting for Eadie to wake up until I got out of bed 😅, leaving dishes out ‘until the morning’ and then waking up in overwhelm at my messy kitchen 🫣… the list goes on ! Haha

My biggest takeaway so far has been the ‘habit stacking’ where you attach other small habits onto the ones you already do without fail everyday 🙌🏼

An introduction of me, and why I’m here… 🥰

Sometimes we come across opportunities in our life and it’s a matter of saying yes now, and figuring the rest out later. ✨ This was me 💁🏼‍♀️

After the chaos of having a baby in October, planning our dream wedding and getting married in March, I quickly started feeling like I was in ‘mum mode’, lacked purpose & I felt that I had lost my identity 👩‍👧
💥 I felt guilty that I wasn’t contributing to my family financially. I felt bad that we might never get to travel on one income. I also felt that afternoon slump like never before, I started gaining weight, and my cycles were all over the place and then I started learning about post partum depletion 😮‍💨
❓So I started asking .life.with.rose questions, lots of them! I was skeptical, like I’m sure many people are. I soon figured that I had nothing to lose by saying yes to this opportunity.
🌈 The Healthstyle Emporium made a lot of sense to me. I had always fallen into the yo-yo diet culture or found myself doing exercise that didn’t work for my body, so to look at health holistically- mindset, movement, nutrition, whole food supplementation and education, really struck a cord for me.
⏩️ Fast forward 2 months, I’ve handed my notice in, and I feel alive again. I have freedom of my time, a smart second income for our family, I get to say yes to filling up my own cup daily and I have the most amazing bunch of ladies around me, cheering me on, who I now call my friends 🫶🏼
I’m already noticing;
🌱 more energy
🌱 my hormones feel balanced again
🌱 my cycles are back to normal
🌱 less cravings (not feeling like hot chips & chocolate so much!)
🌱 and a connection like no other, with like-minded ladies who empower, inspire and constantly lift you up 🌸
I felt a lot of fear, judgement and self limiting beliefs, but I held onto my vision for myself and for my family. I jumped in, I was scared & nervous, and I had no idea how I would run a social media based business 😅 but I’ve never felt alone in this and i won’t be looking back any time soon ✨
