Isn’t George Michael gorgeous! Morgan and Sarah thought so. As did many Raumati residents where he was a local celebrity with his own seat at the local pub.

There was some suggestion that George Michael was officially their son's dog, who entered the family via a phonecall to the wrong Irishman at the right time. No matter. A whole lifetime of love has been experienced since that serendipitous event.

Back in July we attended to George Michaels afterlife care, and it was a day of deep love and palpable sadness. A week later we received images of Morgan with his new art work. His smile struck a cord. A happy remembrance indelibly etched.
Thank you for entrusting George Michaels care to us. It was a privilege to be alongside you.

We recently completed work on this memorial for Ladybug Kijono-Parker.

Anastasia and Lee knew from the outset they had specific requests, and we have really enjoyed spending time with them to make this just right.

They wished to keep many of Ladybugs treasures in this oversized urn, and her story needed telling on these plaques attached. The wording took time to take form, and find it's font for emphasis and reverence.

We experimented with a new stain colour to be tastefully dark while still showing the wood grain.

This was not a straight line quick process, and we have loved working on it. This custom work is Soul food for us. We so appreciate Anastasia and Lee continuing to provide feedback so we can craft something meaningful for them.

One last roadie for Aika today.

Annelisse and Brian Yanko did the drive from Wellington today to farewell their beloved pet. The sun came out to say last goodbyes and share stories.

Originally from Holland, Brian says she arrived without an operators manual. All dog but no common language, starting over learning English commands was both a test and a satisfying work.

Aika's police role has been in recruitment - she has raised several litters with care and diligence.

Her later years were as a devoted family member.

Stand down Aika. You've been a great dog and so very loved.

Recently we had a privilege of assisting Heather Lawrence and family memorialize their gorgeous pony Hobo.

As a horse lover myself I was particularly taken with his blanket of spots hidden away on his tummy. Heather reflected that he was as beautiful inside as his was outside - 1 in a million.

He has been a wonderful first pony for Ollie, 5 years old in this picture -18 years old now. Growing up together, Hobo is affectionately described as Ollie's brother.

We extend best wishes and sympathies to the Lawrence family. Thank you for choosing us.

We farewell our beautiful friend and colleague today. Our hearts are with all friends and family.

Jaimee loved big. And if she loved you, you knew it. While she spent a relatively short time with us, she gave us, her role and all of life her everything. All in.

While we will miss her physical presence we will carry that generous essence with us always.
