This past weekend we had the privilege of hosting a funeral for Daria to honor her beloved Eddie. An intimate gathering of close family, to share stories of Eddie's life and his connection to Daria.

If you have met Eddie and Daria at the beach or during their visits to the nursing home, do connect and wrap around her at this tender time.

Joey is very missed by Sinead De Cent, Kaisen, Jace, Alaura and Taylen. He is home today interred in his urn with love notes and his favorite toy.

When I collected Joey from their home, there was no consensus on what colour his urn should be. My only instruction was it was to be green blue and pink!

Today we attend to this smiley faced chap, Marley.

He didnt have the best start to life, but has rewarded his people with his trust and his loving devotion for the best part of 13 years.

He is keenly missed by Zack and Dianne (and fur sister Harley), so if you know them please wrap around them with care and compassion.

Craig and Helen Thomas farewelled Cheytac recently.

This service was such a privilege for me, as I've known Cheytac nearly all her life through my previous work operating kennels.

She always had the softest most devoted loving face, with intense eyes that asked "what are you up to?"

Isn’t George Michael gorgeous! Morgan and Sarah thought so. As did many Raumati residents where he was a local celebrity with his own seat at the local pub.

There was some suggestion that George Michael was officially their son's dog, who entered the family via a phonecall to the wrong Irishman at the right time. No matter. A whole lifetime of love has been experienced since that serendipitous event.

Back in July we attended to George Michaels afterlife care, and it was a day of deep love and palpable sadness. A week later we received images of Morgan with his new art work. His smile struck a cord. A happy remembrance indelibly etched.
Thank you for entrusting George Michaels care to us. It was a privilege to be alongside you.

We recently completed work on this memorial for Ladybug Kijono-Parker.

Anastasia and Lee knew from the outset they had specific requests, and we have really enjoyed spending time with them to make this just right.

They wished to keep many of Ladybugs treasures in this oversized urn, and her story needed telling on these plaques attached. The wording took time to take form, and find it's font for emphasis and reverence.

We experimented with a new stain colour to be tastefully dark while still showing the wood grain.

This was not a straight line quick process, and we have loved working on it. This custom work is Soul food for us. We so appreciate Anastasia and Lee continuing to provide feedback so we can craft something meaningful for them.

We had an unexpected but welcome visit from Shilo and Lacie this morning. Mulgrave street is a busy road so good idea when you find yourself in a pickle, duck up the driveway and hang out with our horses Eli and Annie. Poops on the driveway are forgiven ladies. Must have been an exciting morning for you
