Growing up in the 90’s and watching Inga the Winger as a child, it was the first time I’d seen a power winger. He broke the mould of what a typical winger looked like and how they played. He was quick, agile and very powerful. I believe he paved the way for other power wingers like Lomu, Vidiri etc. A trailblazer in both Union and League he was an inspiration to many tangata moana who aspired to lace up and run onto the paddock. But more than that, he was a man of god, a servant leader to his community and family man. Moe mai rā Iga the winger “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” RIP.

Posted • .health.plus The AH+ family is shattered after learning of Inga’s passing.
We were supporting his ODICE project and were very proud of his immense lifestyle changes and weight loss over the last 6 months, resulting in a diet controlled “pause” of his Type 2 Diabetes condition, improved vision and a positive outlook on life.
His example of what is necessary and possible, in terms of healthy lifestyle habits, should remain as a legacy to Pacific Youth.
Sadly he was taken far too soon, sincere condolences to his family.
