Blockhouse Bay Medical Centre is delighted to share that we have opened our books for NEW PATIENTS!

We can often offer appointments the same day for acute conditions and within 3-4 days for non-acute conditions.

Our team consists of our 3 long standing associate GPs: Dr Phil Ruge, Dr Shanthi Selvakumar and Dr Brian Thomson as well as our 2 newer associates Dr Kierrtana Selvakumar and Dr Thilanka Weerasooriya.

We offer a large range of services in addition to full family and accident care such as minor surgery, skin and mole checks, immigration medicine, travel medicine, insurance medicals, driving medicals, well child checks, family planning including Mirena and Jadelle, immunisations and more. We also have Awanui Labs (Labtest) on site.

Some of your needs will be taken care of with virtual appointments, however if would like a face to face appointment, please book online now. Please note if you have any Covid-19 symptoms you will need to book a virtual appointment.
