From Thursday 1st May 2025 Espy Skin will be operating out of a new clinic on Level 2 in the BDO Building at 19 Como Street Takapuna.
It’s literally across the road from the original clinic I have been in for the last 5 years.
I’ve moved in with the team from on the same floor as Lumino the Dentist Takapuna.

Everyone that is already booked in for an appointment has been sent an email and text to let them know.

I look forward to seeing you in the new clinic! 💕

Little Honey NZ has been my go to fake tan for the last 5 years. So quick and easy to apply no mess and dries so fast. Please listen to the important messages shared in this post.

Sun beds should be banned!

Research has shown that people who first used a sunbed before the age of 30 have a 75% greater risk of developing melanoma. The risk of melanoma increases the more often you use a sunbed.

We’ve been checking up on sunbed operators for over ten years, and every time we find the same issues.

A sunbed ban is also supported by several agencies, including the NZDSI, Cancer Society of New Zealand, Melanoma Foundation, MelNet and the University of Otago’s Social and Behavioural Research Unit.

I love tennis but what I don’t understand is why it has to be played in the heat of the day when the UV is at the highest with zero shade to protect the players or spectators from the harsh NZ sun. Good to see they are planning on covering the Stanley Street stadium in Auckland, but crazy that rain disrupting play is the driving factor not protecting players and spectators from getting skin cancers!

Now that summer is on its way- let’s say this loud and clear for those that still don’t understand - there is NO such thing as a healthy sun tan!! Any sun tan is actually UV damage to your skin and increases your risk of skin cancer. Applying sunscreen but still getting a tan while wearing it means your sunscreen is not working. And just because you don’t burn but go brown still means your skin is being damaged by the UV rays. It’s crazy that people are still literally dying for a suntan!

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/lifestyle/cancer-society-concerned-teens-promoting-uv-index-as-tanning-guide/Q245V5NAENFA3ALFVUGVOTBBQM/ Cancer Society concerned teens promoting UV Index as tanning guide

Cancer Society warns: 'Any tan is a sign of skin damage' as teens bask in high UV.
