Well folks, I usually only say something when there is something to say, but I cant tell you when we will be allowed to hold our next KP Kirtan Circle, missing you all, as well as the positive energy we generate when we chant together, sending blessings to you all🎶🥰

Its a sold out Event tomorrow! The power of bhakti. Such a positive response, thank you to all who have been working hard behind the scenes in the set up. We will spread the word for our kirtan lovers about our monthly one at Kawai Purapura. Aum shanti.

Connecting through Kirtan

The Kawai Purapura Kirtan collective is passionate about sharing sacred sound through chanting Sanskrit mantras and connecting to the bhakti tradition. Kirtan is a powerful way to 'free the mind' and is part of the yoga practice we call bhakti yoga (working with your emotions). By chanting mantras you create a sound vibration in your body and it is a beautiful way to open your heart. As you sing with each other you experience a deep connection with yourself and the others. Kirtan has roots in India, so many of the songs are in Sanskrit. This allows you to immerse in the sound, no words to distract the mind. The magic of the chants can then carry you within. Kirtan is the song of the soul. Anyone is welcome to join, sing along, clap and dance. 7.30-9.00 pm in Yogashala at Kawai Purapura Retreat Centre 2nd Tues of every month $5 at the door Info and updates will be posted each month on the timeline.
