Hey Lovelies,

Waitangi Day is a time to remember our history and honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and to keep educating ourselves and future generations.

It’s also a day that invites reflection on respect, balance, and connection which includes the relationship we have with our own bodies.

If you’re in peri-menopause or menopause and dealing with unmanageable symptoms, please know you’re not failing and you don’t need to just “push through”. This season asks for grace.

Poor sleep, hot flushes, anxiety, weight gain, gut issues, fatigue - these symptoms aren’t just “part of getting older”. They’re often your body’s way of saying something needs support.

From a naturopathic perspective, the body works in collaboration with other body systems, just like nature. Your hormones, digestion, liver health and your nervous system are all deeply connected. When one area is out of balance, it can affect everything.
